Sprained ankle ;-;

I sprained my ankle at my friend's circus-party-thing, but not from anything cool like falling off a tightrope or something. I was going to work on the painting today too, BUTNO.

Although I did finish that commission that was on the last post:

I'm pretty happy with it, in terms of technique in digital painting but the pose / composition could be helped. A lot. :| Oh well, I'm sure the next one will be better, maybe.

My birthday is coming up, which is super exciting. We're going out to eat at a fun restaurant tomorrow and it will be nice :D Maybe I'll take my camera or something.

Sorry for not having a more useful update! Hopefully I'll do something decent by teh next post!

SIGH

Sorry bros, I don't have anything to really show you guys. 8c I've been working on art like crazy and taking a LOT of pictures, but I don't actually have anything on my computer. Next post will probably include decent things. I do have this though.

Part of a commission I'm working on. Slowly ;-;

BUT ANYWAYS. Let's talk of something else for once. For the first time, really, I'm feeling the effects of the recession. It's really quite hard to get a job. :c I do have an interview this Monday for this restaurant, but the manager said I'd only work like 3-4 times a month, which doesn't yield too much money. And even worse is that there are just so many things I'd like to buy ;-; Like these shoes.

They look a lot like this pair of Ann Demeulemeester shoes :U BUT THAT'S OKAY I'm cheap and they're way cheaper than the real thing. ;-; I'll probably just wait for them to go on sale, if they do. OH and there's also this pair of shoes, by the chickychick who does Sea of Shoes (the pair on the right):

I desire these so badly, but unfortunately I really can't wear heels ;-; I'd probably just barely be able to wear the Free People shoes. I could go on and list the 50-billion pairs of shoes that I'd like too but that would take up tooooo much space.

Aaaand that's all I can think of 8c I'm in Colorado now, breathing the thin mountain air. I took lots of pictures up here though, and I'll post the good ones c:
